Make sure that there is also good ventilation under the bed and air the mattress, topper, duvet and pillow every day after you get up so that moisture can dry off. Toppers can also be shaken out and shaped. Toppers can be turned regularly, if possible depending on the model, also turned over, this relieves the material and supports the escape of moisture. To avoid damaging the fibers, avoid hitting and sucking on the cover. Wash the topper cover about once a year. The topper cover can be removed with a zip and - depending on the information on the label - washed at up to 60 °C. The topper core itself cannot be washed. Of course, how long a topper can be used always depends on personal feelings, care and attention, and how often they are used. For hygienic reasons, however, it is advisable to replace the topper after 5-6 years.
